Welcome to the Mike Orn State Farm Insurance office!

I grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota, in a family built on teaching, coaching, and small business. Community has always mattered to me—and that hasn’t changed.

Hockey shaped a big part of my early life. It took me through Division I college hockey, a National Hockey League draft, and professional play in Germany. When that chapter ended, I leaned on my Business Finance degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and found my way to State Farm. It turned out to be the right fit.

I reconnected with my high school sweetheart, Lori, and we built our life in Ramsey. We raised four children—Adam, Alex, Casey, and Rachel. Being a husband and dad has been the greatest privilege of my life.

I opened my first State Farm agency in Andover in 2005 and expanded with a second office in Anoka in 2025. Building long‐term relationships in these communities is something I take seriously. Giving back matters too. I serve as Vice Chair of Northgate Church in Ramsey, support local food shelves, mentor through Adult and Teen Challenge, and stay deeply involved in hockey as USA Hockey Coach‐in‐Chief for Minnesota.

Our team is something special. We have 11 full‐time and 4 part‐time licensed professionals with more than 100 years of combined experience. Together, we serve Andover, Anoka, Ramsey, Coon Rapids, Ham Lake, Oak Grove, East Bethel, Blaine, and all of Anoka County. We provide Auto Insurance, Car Insurance, Home Insurance, Renters Insurance, Life Insurance, and Commercial Insurance for local businesses.

In January 2023, our family lost our son, Casey. We carry that loss with us every day. We’re also deeply grateful for the compassion and support of our community. It’s a reminder of why relationships, and care matter so much—both in life and in the work we do.
